Can I edit my abstract once it is submitted?

Yes, through the abstract platform you can edit your submitted abstract right up until the closing date.

How do I submit an abstract?
A
Click the ‘Submit your abstract’ button on the Abstract Submission page to access our abstract platform. You will need to register for an account on this platform in order to submit an abstract. You will also be able to keep track of your abstracts progress.

My submission has more than one author, how do I add them?

Once you have submitted your Abstract you will be able to add more authors to your submission, they will be notified by email that they have been added.

My abstract is for a poster submission do I use the same form?

Yes, you can select poster submission in the drop-down menu in the form.

What are the abstract requirements for a paper and poster submissions?
A
We require 350 words for either a poster or paper abstract submission. This should explain clearly what your poster or paper is about. Submissions must also fall under one of the 4 topics of the event: 1. Package Design, Package Performance and Safety & Security Analysis
2. Operational Matters
3. Institutional and Regulatory Environment
4. Training and Education You will be able to select one of these categories when submitting your abstract. During the review stage, panellists will be able to confirm if your abstract is in the correct category.

How will I know if my abstract submission has been successful?

You will be notified by email and on the abstract platform if your abstract submission has been successful, once it has been reviewed by our panellists. The date of this is tbc.

What happens if my abstract is accepted?
A
If your abstract is accepted, you will then be able to submit your full paper or poster through the platform, along with any supportive documents such as presentations. We are still finalising dates for abstract approvals but will let you know as soon as possible.
